The Blood Brain Barrier; Iodine; What to Ask Your Doctor 4.27.2018

As we move into May, it is a time of creativity; of moving and growing.

It is important to ask for specific labs at you annual visit with you MD:  1) a blood test, including a CBC (complete blood count); 2) a chem panel; and 3) a urinalysis.

Iodine is necessary for the functioning of every cell in the body.  The glandular tissues need a lot of iodine and it is critical for the pituitary gland.


It is important that we have very good calcium in our bones, both for strength and to control the ph in the body.

The Blood Brain Barrier is a filtering mechanism of the capillaries that carry blood to the brain and spinal cord tissue, blocking the path of certain substances.
